Statement on Israeli occupation of the Middle East, Saudi Arabia seeks clarification from the US State Department

Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned and rejected the controversial statement made by the US ambassador to Israel.

A statement issued by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that such irresponsible statements not only violate international laws and principles, but also pose a serious threat to peace and stability in the region.

Saudi Arabia has asked the US State Department for clarification on the issue, saying that the nature of the statement and its motivations need to be clarified.

On the other hand, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) also strongly condemned the US ambassador's statement, calling it a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter.

The OIC said in its statement that such statements are not only provocative but could further increase tensions in the region, which is likely to affect world peace.

Saudi Arabia and the OIC have called on the international community to pay attention to such statements and play a role in ensuring peace, sovereignty and respect for international law in the Middle East.

We must remember that the US ambassador to Israel said yesterday that God gave this land to the Israelis and that it is their right to occupy the entire region.
