Afghan national arrested in Texas for alleged bomb-making

An Afghan national has been arrested in Texas for alleged bomb-making. 

According to the American television channel Fox News, the person who claimed to have made the bomb is an Afghan citizen who was detained by the Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday and is being prosecuted. 

According to the American media, the name of the arrested person was revealed as Mohammad Dawood Alokzai. He was also brought to the United States as part of Operation "Welcome to the Allies".

US media say that Muhammad Dawood Alokzai received permanent residency (green card) in the US on September 7, 2022. 

According to US media, the arrested man posted a video on TikTok in which he claimed to be making a bomb and that he would target the city of Fort Worth.

It should be recalled that US investigators recently arrested Rahmanullah Laknwal, an Afghan national who opened fire on National Guard personnel near the White House. Rahmanullah also came to the United States in 2021.
