Following the deaths of Chinese citizens in Tajikistan, the Chinese embassy in Dushanbe has instructed its citizens to immediately evacuate the border area.

Tajik officials say a drone attack on the Tajik border from Afghanistan on the night of November 26 killed three Tajikistan-Afghanistan border. 

The Chinese embassy in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, said in a statement that three Chinese citizens were killed and one injured in an attack near the Tajikistan-Afghanistan border. 

The incident occurred in the southwestern province of Khatlan, Tajikistan, on Wednesday evening.

The Chinese embassy has ordered its citizens to evacuate the border area immediately. 

According to the news agency, China has asked Tajik authorities to investigate the attack. The Chinese embassy did not say in its statement who was behind the attack, while the Afghan administration has not yet issued a statement.
