Threat to assassinate Modi during Australian visit

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received a death threat. 

According to foreign media reports, the threat targets Modi during a community event scheduled for 9 July 2026 at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium—part of his visit to Australia. 

The threat was posted by a user named Abu Mustafa on the Marvel Stadium's Facebook event page. 

Following this threat, Australian security agencies have been placed on high alert. 

Meanwhile, Australian authorities are treating the threat very seriously and have initiated investigations and security measures.
