According to Bharatiya Journal, about a million names were removed from voter lists in West Bengal, depriving them of their right to vote.

On the other hand, 27 lakh citizens were excluded on the basis of discrepancies, questions were raised about the creation of 6 lakh voters after the final list, according to The Wire, Modi is ready to impose a brutal Gaza-like system in West Bengal by extremist thugs.

According to the Indian newspaper, the chief minister of West Bengal said that Muslims in India should be taught the same lesson that Israel taught Gaza: "I will not work for Muslims unless they convert."

The Wire further claims that other BJP chief ministers, Yogi Adityanath and Himanta Biswas, have also made anti-Muslim statements.
