China has imposed sanctions on 20 US defense companies and 10 Peoples for selling arms to Taiwan.
According to foreign media reports, all assets of those subject to sanctions in China have been frozen and they have been banned from entering the country.
Chinese authorities have also ordered local organizations and companies not to do business with those subject to sanctions.
According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Taiwan is the first red line in Sino-US relations that cannot be crossed.
The ministry warned that China would resolutely respond to any provocative actions related to the Taiwan issue. It also demanded that the United States stop its dangerous efforts to supply Taiwan with weapons.
China's move comes after the United States announced last week that it would sell $11.1 billion worth of weapons to Taiwan.
