According to Indian media reports, India's vice-captain Shubman Gill has suffered an injury ahead of the big clash.
According to the report, Shubman Gill, who scored 20 points without a loss against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday, injured his hand during a training session.
The report further said that Gill appeared to be in severe pain and had to leave the court after the physiotherapist arrived.
After the incident, Indian team captain Suryakumar Yadav and head coach Gautam Gambhir were seen talking to the batsman.
However, the report further stated that Shubman Gill, after spending some time off the field, returned and resumed his training.
