Iran and the United Nations nuclear watchdog (IAEA) have signed an agreement to resume cooperation.
The agreement, signed in Egypt by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
also includes the resumption of inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities, but further details of the agreement were not made public.
The agreement came after a meeting between Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atty, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
Grossi said at a joint press conference that the agreement was technical in nature and a step in the right direction.
We should recall that Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, announced on Monday that the agency expects to reach an agreement with Iranian authorities within a few days to resume its full operations in the country.
