Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has set another world record.

Portugal beat Hungary 3-2 in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.

Ronaldo also scored a brilliant goal in the match against Hungary, after which he reached the same level with Guatemala's Carlos Ruiz, who scored the most goals in World Cup qualifiers with 39.

In addition, the 40-year-old Ronaldo's international goals also reached 141, the highest number of goals by any player from Portugal.

Ronaldo previously achieved a historic milestone last month.

Ronaldo scored for Al-Nasr against Al-Ahly in the Saudi Super Cup final. It was Ronaldo's 100th goal for Al-Nasr.

Ronaldo thus became the first player to score 100 or more goals for four different clubs.
