Death toll from Philippines earthquake rises to 41, more than 450 injured

The death toll from the Philippines earthquake has risen to 41. 

The death toll from the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck near the Philippine island of Mindanao yesterday has risen to 41, while more than 450 people have been injured. 

According to the news agency, 10,000 people have been evacuated from affected areas, but 4 people are still missing and searches continue.

It should be noted that the depth of the earthquake recorded yesterday was approximately 10 kilometers, which made the intensity of the tremors felt more on the ground. 

After the earthquake, reports of damage to buildings and the collapse of several structures were also reported in many areas.
