Israel Creates Secret Military Base in Iraq for Attacks on Iran: Wall Street Journal

The American newspaper Wall Street Journal, citing American officials, claimed that Israel had created a secret military base in the Iraqi desert for military operations against Iran. 

According to the report, Israeli special forces were stationed at this secret base, while it was also used as a logistics center for the Israeli Air Force.

According to the newspaper, search and rescue teams were also present at the base to provide immediate assistance in the event of an Israeli pilot's plane crash. 

The report said that Iraqi forces approached the base in early March, but Israeli forces allegedly used airstrikes to keep Iraqi personnel away so that the base's secrets would not be revealed. 

The Israeli Prime Minister's Office did not immediately respond to the report.
