North Korea tested ballistic missiles again today, firing several ballistic missiles.

According to the South Korean military, the missiles were launched at 6:10 a.m. local time from near the eastern coastal city of Sinpo, North Korea, and fell into the sea after flying about 140 kilometers.

According to the report, this is North Korea's fourth missile test this month and the seventh this year.

The Japanese government said on social media that the missile landed near the east coast of the Korean Peninsula.

After the missile test, South Korea's presidential Blue House convened an emergency security meeting, calling the tests provocative and a violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions.

According to a foreign news agency, it was not clear what type of missiles were fired, but Sinpo is a site where submarines and submarine-launched ballistic missile test systems are located.
