Britain and France have signed a £622 million deal to stop migrants arriving in small boats from France. 

According to media reports, Britain will send trained riot police to the French coast under the deal.

France is to buy millions of pounds worth of drones and two new helicopters to track down people smugglers and illegal immigrants. 

In this regard, the British Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, said that thousands of immigrants have been prevented from coming to the United Kingdom as a result of our cooperation with France.
