Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has blamed the US and Israel for the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has sent a statement to the US and Israel that he will not be intimidated by threats over the Strait of Hormuz issue.

Abbas Araqchi said that the disruption of maritime transport in the Strait of Hormuz is due to the war started by the United States and Israel.

He addressed the United States and Israel and said that the responsibility for the disruption of the maritime transport route does not lie with Iran, but with these countries.

The Iranian foreign minister added that neither any insurance company nor Iran will be subjected to further threats.

On the other hand, the Iranian Foreign Ministry also said in a statement that the United States and Israel are directly responsible for the tense and dangerous situation in the Strait of Hormuz.

We must remember that US President Donald Trump threatened yesterday that if Iran does not open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, strict measures will be imposed.
