Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachan has won the Filmfare Best Actor Award for the first time in his 25-year career.
According to Indian media, the 70th Filmfare Awards ceremony was held on Sunday, during which Abhishek Bachan won the Best Actor award.
Abhishek Bachan received this award for his excellent performance in the 2024 film "I Want to Speak".
Abhishek won the Filmfare Best Actor Award for the first time in his 25-year film career. Abhishek Bachan looked emotional at the event.
The actor took to the stage and thanked his family, especially his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachan, daughter and parents.
After winning the award, Abhishek said in his speech that this year marks 25 years of my journey in films and I can't remember how many times I have prepared this speech for the award. It has always been my dream.
I am very happy and grateful to receive this award in front of my family. This moment is very special for me.
Abhishek also thanked all his colleagues, directors and producers in the film industry who believed in him and gave him opportunities.
He said that the journey in these 25 years has not been easy, but it has definitely been a journey of pride.
According to Indian media, Abhishek gave an emotional message to his wife and daughter at the end of his speech, saying, "Thank you Aishwarya and Aaradhya, who have always supported me and given me the freedom to pursue my dreams."
It should be remembered that Abhishek Bachan made his Bollywood debut in 2000 with the film 'Refugee'.
