A major storm will hit Gaza City today, Israeli defense minister says
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a stark warning to Gaza City residents to leave the area immediately, as the Israeli military has intensified ground and air operations in the Palestinian territory.
"We have destroyed 50 terrorist towers in two days and this is just the beginning," Netanyahu said in a video statement on the social network X. "
The ground operation in Gaza City will be intensified.
I am making it clear to the local residents that you have been warned, get out now.
"The Israeli military launched a hurricane-like bombardment of Gaza City, which it described as a "superstorm," and warned Hamas that the area was on the verge of complete destruction unless they released all hostages and surrendered their weapons.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz tweeted that a powerful storm will sweep across the skies of Gaza City today, shaking the roofs of terror towers.
Katz added that this is the final warning to the murderers and oppressors of Hamas: Release the hostages, or Gaza will be completely annihilated.
It should be noted that two days ago the Israeli army demolished a 12-story apartment building in Gaza City where homeless families were living.
Three hours earlier, the army had ordered the people there and thousands of people living in nearby tents to evacuate.
The military says that this building was used by Hamas to plan operations and spy on its terrorists, and that attacks were prepared from there.
