Dubai: Asian Cricket Council (ACC) president Mohsin Naqvi has said that if the Indian team wants the Asia Cup trophy, the Indian captain should come to the ACC office and get it from me.
A meeting of the Asian Cricket Council was held in Dubai under the chairmanship of Mohsin Naqvi, in which the vice-chairman of the Indian Cricket Board, Rajiv Shukla, asked Mohsin Naqvi for the Asia Cup trophy.
According to sources, ACC President Mohsin Naqvi said that this item was not on the agenda of the ACC meeting.
According to sources, Rajiv Shukla repeatedly insisted that Mohsin Naqvi should receive the trophy, but he replied that if the Indian team wanted the trophy, the captain should come to the ACC office and receive it from me.
Sources say that no decision could be taken in the meeting regarding awarding the Asia Cup trophy to the Indian team.
