This year's grand event will be played across four cities in India and the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo.

Tickets for the league matches in India will initially be available for just Rs 100, the lowest price in the history of any ICC event.

The move is aimed at attracting more fans to the stadium so that they can play a role in promoting women's cricket.

Ticket sales began last night, with a special initial four-day pre-sale window reserved for Google Pay users, who can purchase tickets until 7pm on September 8th.

The general sales for the second phase will begin at 20:00 on September 9, during which time remaining supporters will also have the opportunity to obtain tickets.

In the initial phase, tickets will be available for all round-robin matches, while ticket sales for more matches will begin in the second phase.
