According to details, BCCI's Rs 358 crore sponsorship deal with Dream11 ended recently.

The Indian board may bring in a new sponsor ahead of the Asia Cup, but after the government's ban on real money apps, its impact will be felt on the players as well.

Several players from the Indian team had contracts with various fantasy sports platforms.

Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya were associated with Dream11.

Other major platforms also included players like Shubman Gill, Mohammad Siraj, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Raturaj Gaekwad, Rinku Singh and former captain Sourav Ganguly.

Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni will also be affected by this ban.
