England destroy South Africa's bowlers to create new history in T20 cricket.
Phil Salt scored the fastest century in England's T20 history to lead the team to a historic victory over South Africa.
In the match played at Old Trafford, the home team, England, scored a total of 304 runs for the loss of 2 wickets to level the series 1-1.
Phil Salt broke Liam Livingstone's record by scoring a century off just 39 balls, scoring 141 runs off 60 balls.
Liam Livingstone scored a century off 42 balls in the T20 series against Pakistan in 2021.
Jos Buttler also showed excellent batting form, scoring 83 runs off 30 balls and a partnership of 126 runs with Salt.
Jacob Bethell scored 24 runs and captain Harry Brooke scored 41 runs off 21 balls, unbeaten.

Chasing the target, South Africa's openers Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickleton got off to an aggressive start, scoring 50 runs off 22 balls.
However, Jofra Archer bowled brilliantly, sending two players to the pavilion.
Archer took 3 wickets for 25 runs, while Sam Curran took 2 wickets for 11 runs.
South Africa scored 158 runs against England and the entire team was eliminated.
England won the match by 146 runs. The series decider will be played at Trent Bridge on Sunday.
