The Israeli occupation army is currently reportedly encountering fierce resistance from Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, where clashes continue and Israel is suffering heavy casualties in various parts of the front.
On the night of March 6-7, approximately 50 to 60 Israeli special forces personnel landed in the Bekaa Valley (Baalbek district) in eastern Lebanon for an operation.
After landing, the group moved to the Nabi Sheit cemetery area, where Hezbollah fighters - specifically the Radwan unit - ambushed and attacked them.
After a fierce battle. The Israeli special forces suffered heavy losses and all attempts by the Israeli army to recover the bodies of their personnel were unsuccessful.
Israeli media and sources have also indirectly confirmed a "serious security incident" in the area.
One thing is clear:
Bombing from the air or from afar is easy, but fighting the insurgents face to face is a completely different and much more difficult task.
