Resident doctors in England have announced a strike in favour of their demands before Christmas.

According to media reports, the strike will take place from December 17 to 22. According to the head of the Resident Doctors Committee, the British government has failed to increase doctors' salaries.

He said that the government has failed to present a credible plan to address the crisis in doctors' jobs, so there is no other option but to strike.

According to British media, GPs are paid £15 an hour, which residents consider inadequate and have demanded an increase.

According to media reports, this will be the 14th strike by residents in support of their demands. Residents make up almost half of the NHS medical workforce.
