Clashes have broken out again between Thailand and Cambodia.

According to a foreign news agency, a Thai military spokesman said that Cambodia had escalated the clashes in new places.

A Thai military spokesman said the Cambodian army had increased the deployment of weapons and troops. One Thai soldier was killed and seven others were wounded in clashes with the Cambodian army.

A Thai military spokesman says that our military also responded forcefully to the Cambodian attack. On the other hand, the Cambodian Ministry of Defense says that the Thai military attacked Cambodia, but there was no resistance from Cambodia.

It should be remembered that in July this year, dozens of people were killed in border clashes between Thailand and Cambodia.

However, later in October, US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between the two countries on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit in Malaysia, which was officially signed by the leaders of both countries.

Two weeks after the agreement, Thailand announced its withdrawal from the agreement, accusing Cambodia of injuring two of its soldiers.

Cambodia has also nominated US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
