Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum think they are the only ones who know modern Test cricket, we should stop listening now: Geoffrey Boycott

Former England cricket team captain Geoffrey Boycott has attacked his team for their defeat to Australia in the second Ashes Test.

Former captain Geoffrey Boycott has branded the England cricket team irresponsible and useless, saying Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum think they are the only ones who know modern Test cricket, and that we should stop listening to them now.

Geoffrey Boycott said that given a terrible performance in Brisbane, irresponsible batting and short bowling, this Australian team should have been beaten.

The former England captain said that after six days of Ashes cricket, England now needs a miracle, with this batting and bowling the England cricket team cannot win.

Geoffrey Boycott said that he had planned this Ashes series for 4 years, but what are they doing now, no member of the England cricket team is willing to listen to anyone other than his camp, Test cricket has changed and they think they are the only ones who know what modern Test cricket is.

The former captain said every England cricket fan wants to know what is going on in Harry Brook's mind, Harry Brook can barely move his feet on Australian pitches.

It should be remembered that Australia defeated England in the first two Test matches of the Ashes series after a one-sided match and took a two-nil lead in the five-match series.
