Unbeaten Bavuma creates new history in Test cricket

South Africa captain Temba Bavuma has created new history in Test cricket. 

South Africa defeated India by a huge margin of 408 runs in the Guwahati Test on Wednesday to secure a comprehensive 0-2 series victory.

India were given a target of 549 runs in the second innings, but the entire Indian team was bowled out for just 140 runs. 

This was South Africa's first Test series victory on Indian soil in 25 years. 

With this victory, South African captain Temba Bavuma became the captain with the most wins in Test cricket without losing a single match.

Bavuma has won 11 of his 12 Test matches as captain, with one drawn. No team has ever beaten South Africa in a Test match under Bavuma's captaincy. 

Previously, this honour was held by former England captain Mike Brearley, who won 10 of his 15 Test matches without losing a single one.

It should be noted that South Africa under the leadership of Temba Bavuma not only maintained a winning streak, but also won the World Test Championship this year.
