The death toll from Hurricane Melissa has risen to 50 across several Caribbean islands.
According to a foreign news agency, Hurricane Melissa has caused widespread devastation in Jamaica, Cuba and Haiti, resulting in the deaths of 50 people so far.
The US National Hurricane Center says 19 people have died in Jamaica and 30 in Haiti due to the storm, while 20 people have been injured and 20 are missing.
The report said the storm caused severe damage to homes, roads and power systems, while about 800,000 people have been evacuated from the affected areas so far.
According to the US National Hurricane Center, the storm, after causing devastation in Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, is now moving towards Bermuda, where a hurricane warning has been issued.
