Instead, she opted for one of the standout looks from Sarah Burton's debut collection for Givenchy: a broken chandelier blouse made of a variety of crystals and pearls, paired with a low-waisted black maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit and strappy black Louboutin platforms.
(Don't worry — Ortega still maintained her goth glow with her hair and makeup.)
Being transparent at the Emmys is a particular theme for Ortega.
The actress was nominated last year for her role as Wednesday Addams on Wednesday, where she earned a nomination in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category.
For the 2024 Emmys, she ditched Wednesday's signature black look for a structured, semi-sheer tea-length Dior gown embroidered with tiny purple flowers.
