Dubai: Pakistan defeated UAE by 41 runs in a crucial match of the Asia Cup T20 tournament to qualify for the Super Four stage of the event.
Chasing Pakistan's target of 147 runs, the UAE team was eliminated by 105 runs.In the Group A match played in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first.
Pakistan made two changes to the team for the match against the United Arab Emirates. Haris Rauf and Khushdil Shah replaced Sufyan Muqeem and Faheem Ashraf.
Pakistan's innings
Pakistan scored 146 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs against the United Arab Emirates.
For the Green Shirts, Fakhar Zaman played an innings of 50 runs, while Shaheen Shah Afridi remained unbeaten on 29 runs off 14 balls.
In addition, Saim Ayub scored 0 runs, Sahibzada Farhan 5, captain Salman Ali Agha 20, Hassan Nawaz 3, Khushdil Shah and Muhammad Nawaz 4, 4 and Muhammad Haris 18 were dismissed.
For the United Arab Emirates, Junaid Siddique took 4 wickets for 18 runs, while Simranjeet Singh took 3 wickets.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed got 2 spots each, while Saim Ayub and Salman Ali Agha got 1 spot each.
It should be noted that India and Pakistan qualified for the Super Four stage of Group A in the Asia Cup, while Oman and the United Arab Emirates were eliminated from the trophy race.
